イモラとは、もちろんF1GPの開催サーキットをもつことでも知られるイタリアの地名だが、ゾンダ、そしてウアイラと、これまで風の名前をネーミングに用いてきたパガーニが、あえてサーキットを連想させる車名を採用したのは、2008年に発表されたゾンダRと同様に、サーキットドライブを強く意識したモデルとして完成されているからだ。
